The Osmo Country Colours finishes are what we use to finish all of our coloured bee homes. What we like about these finishes is just how durable and easy to maintain they are, while remaining extremely safe to animals once they are dried. In fact, they meet the European standard DIN EN 71.3 for use on children's toys.
We have found that is takes about 10mL, or two sachet's, worth of finish to complete a bee home with two full coats. If you are touching up an existing home, one would likely be enough.
